Soooo...Here we are back asking you all for your expert opinions!! We at KitchenAid are looking into developing a NEW style glass bowl for our tilt head mixers! Not a replacement bowl for a 4-c or anything like that..A new bowl for those interested in a glass bowl accessory.
It could feature:
A pouring spout!
Easy to read measure marks
Easy to grip handle
AND AND AND..(HINT)this is where you come in

Oh, poor nurse-gadget!!!!! I hope your perfect new replacement bowl gets to you lickity-split!!!!

Nurse-gadget, so sorry about your new glass bowl! I'm sure you've been waiting anxiously for it! Please email me your full name, phone number, address, and model and serial number of your mixer. I will also need a copy of your invoice or other dated proof of purchase for the bowl (email confirmation from wherever you ordered it would do).

Thanks! We'll get it taken care of for you.

This is just so cool that you would ask about what ideas we might have on this bowl!! I still don't have my KA mixer yet....so I can't really give good advice but I must agree about the bowl being wide enough to easily add ingredients...and also... a really sturdy type of glass if that's possible..REALLY sturdy.

I am new to this forum, but am in the process of deciding which new KA to get. My 20 year old KSM (w/ 5 qt bowl) gave up the ghost recently and I was thinking how nice it would be to have some kind of adapter for the new wide bowl machines, 5 or 6 qt, that would allow me to use my older narrow bowl too . It would definitely make my decision easier.
An adapter shouldn't be too difficult to devise
