Here it is this time of year again. Halloween falls on a Friday night this year, so get ready! I'll be doing some shopping I need some m&m's for the iris's and oreo's. It's so funny everytime I see oreo's I think of Nurse Gadget, her recipe is sooooooo good!
I'll post pictures of this years goodies when I make them.

Hey, I would like to be something for halloween but not quite sure how to do it... Anyone have any suggestions? Here's what I want to be and it's a bit of a play on words...

I want to be a Sand Witch (sandwich). heheh What I would like to do is make something around my body that looks like a sandwich and then wear a nice pretty witches hat and all the witch make up that goes with it and just make it a play on words. I am going to dress up for trick-or-treats at the church and I need ideas on how to decorate the trunk of my car too and what kindsa treats to give out.

I'm thinking for the trick or treats a little cup with some juice and a frozen eyeball in it, and I need an idea for some type of food thing.

Laney and Martha

Martha is a white 6 Qt pro mixer

I have all the attachments 'cept the ravioli and angel hair pasta rollers. I will get those soon as I can. :) hehe

Thanks for sharing the Hershey's Link. I haven't seen the Candy Corn Kisses. Good looking recipes too. It makes me wish my girls were still at home! I loved making their costumes and treats.

Those are some really good ideas, and I will have to share those with my friend, who has young grandchildren...

LaneyAndMartha, Cute Idea! For Your costume I would use foam rubber for the 'bun' part. It could be spray painted any color. From reupholstering furniture, I have found an electric knife works well for cutting just the right shapes out of foam rubber. Look for it in the fabric stores.

Pink Granny, I also miss making those costumes years ago, it was such a fun time. I still like to act like a kid on Halloween night, maybe 'cause I can get away with it!

Hi Diet, Thanks for posting these sites, great ideas!

Hi nurse-gadget! I am so glad you remembered to make these. Yours come out so much better than mine. With practice my dipping will get better. No problem with the taste though, these mistakes are fun to eat! Here is this years batch...............
